About call forwarding
When Emma goes live, we give you a dedicated Emma phone number. You don’t publish this number anywhere — instead you forward your existing salon number to it, either from your phone’s settings or by dialling a short code from your carrier.
There are two ways to forward:
- Forward missed calls (recommended). Your phone rings as normal. If nobody picks up, the line is busy or the phone is off, the call goes to Emma.
- Forward all calls. Every call goes straight to Emma and your phone won’t ring.
Step 1: Get your Emma number
- Find your Emma number in your go-live email from the Aura team.
- Can’t find it? Reply to that email or contact your Aura account manager and we’ll send it again.
- Write it down in full, including the country code (e.g.
+1 555 123 4567). You’ll enter it as 10 digits in the codes below.
Step 2: Turn on forwarding
Choose your carrier or phone type. Replace NUMBER with your 10-digit Emma number, no spaces or dashes (e.g. 5551234567). Dial the code from the phone line you want to forward, then press call.

| Only when the phone is off / no signal | *62*NUMBER# | #62# |
- Wait for the confirmation tone or on-screen message (around 3 seconds) before hanging up.
- To check what’s currently active, dial
*#21#(all calls) or*#61#(no answer). - AT&T business landlines (not mobile) use different codes — see the Landline tab.
Step 3: Test it
- From a different phone, call your salon number.
- If you set up missed-call forwarding, let it ring without answering.
- You should hear Emma pick up. If you don’t, turn forwarding off with the code above and try again, or contact us.
